On retirement as a national swim coach, Joe was involved in many community activities including bell ringing at St. Clement's Church, Withiel and an active member of Bodmin Bowls Club. Always happy to help friends and neighbours with his extensive mechanical and engineering knowledge, Joe was generous in spirit and with his time. He will be much missed by his friends and family and in particular, his wife Rita. Funeral service St. Clement's Church, Withiel on Monday 12th June at 2.15pm and afterwards at Bodmin Bowls Club.
